Hand built ceramic happy flower brooch. Each item is hand cut from a white stoneware clay, and then using a technique called Mishima which uses a wax resist I carve the flowers into the clay. I then rub underglaze into the small cuts creating the inlaid image of each flower. It is then bisque fired, painted with underglaze to give them the color, clear glazed and fired a second time.
Color will be random
A pinback has been glued to the back of each.
